Finding Feffer

On July 23, 2014, at approximately 8:30 p.m., near West Gandy Boulevard and North Dale Mabry, some heartless excuse for a human being, stole an 86-year-old woman’s four legged family member, an eight-year-old Schnauzer named Feffer.
The pet owner let her dog out into her own front yard to use the restroom while she stood nearby.  A gold colored, older model Honda with a Puerto Rican flag hanging from the rearview mirror pulled up, a female got out of the car, snatched the dog and then fled.
This woman is heartbroken that her best friend and companion of eight years is gone.  Gone and scared into the hands of this appalling, wicked woman.
What kind of low-life does this?  Who steals a living creature from an elderly woman and why?
The Tampa Police is asking for your help.  SOMEONE KNOWS SOMETHING.  Your voice on Social Media can be LOUD, and it can be HEARD.  Our Facebook post about Feffer has already been shared over 525 times in the past four hours.
SOMEONE KNOWS SOMETHING.  Do the right thing.  Keep your eyes open.  Spread the word. Keep sharing, and don’t limit your SHARE to just Tampa.  This message needs to reach Ocala, Lakeland, Orlando and beyond.  Many thieves will steal dogs and “re-home” them on Craigslist in surrounding cities for a small fee.
SOMEONE KNOWS SOMETHING.  Someone may come across a newly posted add for a Schnauzer for sale on-line.  The Veterinarian may meet a new client that brings in an 8-year-old Schnauzer that has a scar on her belly from a recent surgery.  The teacher may hear classroom chatter about a new dog that their relative brought home.  Your neighbor may suddenly have a cute little Schnauzer in the yard next door.  If you know someone with a gold Honda that sports a Puerto Rican flag from the rearview mirror, check to see if they suddenly have a poop scooper in the yard or listen for a new barking voice coming from inside .  If you know who has Feffer, speak up.  Do the right thing.
Crime Stoppers is offering a $1000 reward for any information that leads to the arrest of this cruel, malicious criminal.  Do the right thing…
